1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Pocko (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Pocko is a real-time planning poker application that allows distributed teams to collaboratively estimate work items. The Service is provided free of charge for basic use, with optional paid plans for advanced features.
3. Use of the Service
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Transmit any material that is harmful, offensive, or disruptive.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service in an automated manner.
4. Sessions and Data
Sessions created on Pocko are ephemeral by default. Session data is stored in-memory and may be lost if the server restarts. We do not guarantee the persistence of any session data.
You are responsible for any content you submit to the Service. Do not share sensitive, confidential, or personally identifiable information through session names or vote values.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its source code, design, and documentation, is open source and available under the MIT License on GitHub. You are free to fork and self-host the project in accordance with that licence.
The “Pocko” name and logo are proprietary. You may not use them to imply endorsement or affiliation without prior written permission.
6. Third-Party Integrations
The Service may integrate with third-party platforms such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Jira. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for any actions, outages, or changes made by those third parties.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pocko and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will update the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
